How to create a shortcut to lock your PC:
Generally you are in hurry & no so much time to turn off your PC so you can create a shortcut on your desktop or quick launch.
Get Started:
First of all, come on your desktop right click on your desktop a & choose shortcut through ‘NEW’ create shortcut wizard will open & prompt you for location of the shortcut type in
“rundll32.exe User32.dll, LockWorkStation”
click next, type any shortcut name like ‘Lock this PC’, then click Finish to close the wizard & create shortcut. Now you have a new shortcut to lock your PC, you can change its icon to any suitable icon, simply right click on the shortcut click properties & change icon from ‘Shortcut’ tab, type in “shell32.dll” & choose suitable icon from window. You can also drag it into a quick launch menu. Right click on the empty task bar click ‘Quick launch’ from Toolbar.
Now your shortcut is allover ready. Enjoy the 'short cut'.
